HOW DO STUDENTS GET INTO DEBT FOR STUDYING AT THE UNIV. (LOANS)?

In Chile, There are 3 loans or credits to choose for studying and get into debt when getting the degree.

- Fondo Solidario del Crédito Universitario (University Credit's Supportive fund)(FSCU)
- Crédito con Aval del Estado (Credits by State's Guarantee) (CAE)
- Credito CORFO (CORFO credit, CORFO: Foment Corporation to Production) (CCO)

What are differences between both of thes
e three credits?
You'll see that answer coming up:

Their Coverages:
- FSCU: US$240 per Monthly Payment
- CAE: Amount you may choose, but you'd have to pay until US$25 per Monthly Payment (this credit doesn't cover the TOTALITY)
- CCO: Totality of the care
er

PSU score Requirement:
- FSCU: 475 or over PSU score (as average)
- CAE: 475 or over PSU score (as avera
ge)

More Rates for Credits:
For example:
Your career costs US$ 420 monthly, The year (10 months) it'll cost US$ 4200, and The 5 years along (duration of such any career) it'll cost US$ 21000
you will pay off until the double of the career.

The FSCU is 2% rate (interest)
The CAE is from 5 to 6% rate (intere
st)

If you delay paying off some credit, the debt will grow and maybe until becoming double.,
